Aurelium BioPharma Inc., a privately held company, focuses on developing novel diagnostic products in oncology.

The company has developed several diagnostic tests for the detection of breast, ovarian as well as drug-resistant cancers. Aurelium has a strong “drugable” pipeline of novel targets and complimentary diagnostic products that are utilized in its strategic collaborations and out-licensing efforts.

Aurelium is currently advancing one of its breast-cancer diagnostic test, and filing is currently underway with the FDA for a novel multi-marker breast cancer diagnostic (MMD™ ELISA and MMD™ QPCR). 

Aurelium's novel approach to use multiple marker diagnostics (MMD™) in the assessment of breast and ovarian cancers with near 100% specificity and sensitivity is astonishing. These diagnostics have already been validated with a large number of normal, benign and malignant clinical samples.  A similar diagnostic is currently being validated to predict drug-resistant cancers.  This resistance MMD™ diagnostic is expected to yield an accurate profile of tumors that will lead to better treatment.
